Hi folks,

Hoping y'all can save me a ton of back-breaking work. I had to pull up 1000 sq ft of wood floor due to a flood in our house. My wife wants to go back with porcelain tile. There are some thin films of Bostik best glue still on the concrete. Does that need to come up or am I okay going over it with latex modified thnset? I have the gross clumps of the glue up, and just the films remain.

Thanks in advance, ray

First spalsh some water on the floor and let it sit for an hour or so. If it doesn't turn the old adhesive white and look milkish you should be good to go. If it does turn witish - wet it all and start scraping.

When the time comes,
use a quality modified thinset.:)
