This is just out of curiosity...
Last week I rented a Chevy Malibu with 7 miles on it, for 8 days. Every time I pulled away from a full start it kinda shuddered. Everything else about it was fine. Its not like the whole car shook, but it was significant and different from anything I have felt on a car before.
On the other hand, idling was dead quiet. I thought maybe it shut the motor off at stop and the shudder was the engine starting, but the Chevy website doesn't mention it.
Was there something wrong with it, or just a rough transmission?
