I just replaced the blower motor for my furnace, it just doesn't seem to be blowing as forcefully as I think it should, maybe I'm crazy, any ideas?
Did you replace it because of the low air flow or a different reason?I just replaced the blower motor for my furnace, it just doesn't seem to be blowing as forcefully as I think it should, maybe I'm crazy, any ideas?
Post brand and model number of furnace.I replaced it because it wasn't engaging at all, it's in the correct position, it's the same motor, I don't understand, there is no external starting cap. ..
It's an International Gas, century products? , HG 160 B model, there's only two wires to the motor, could my pulley be not tight enough? It's spinning in the right direction, I mean the house is warm, there's some blowing going on, it just seems slow. I tried posting a video of it in action. ..Post brand and model number of furnace.I replaced it because it wasn't engaging at all, it's in the correct position, it's the same motor, I don't understand, there is no external starting cap. ..

Private video, can't see
if it's belt and pulley then it's old enough to be centrifugal switch. The switching would not be the problem. It either wouldn't start or it would blow the breaker if it was. It's an International Gas, century products? , HG 160 B model, there's only two wires to the motor, could my pulley be not tight enough?
