Hi everyone i just finished my interior perimeter drain and hooked it up to my sump and next i heed to fix the cracks in my walls they are mostly cracks from settling but i wanted to know if there is anything i could do to stop moisture and further shifting befor i frame my walls and insulate the basment walls also what are recommendations for insulation? Also i plan on putting c channel every 5 to 7 feet to stop any shifting like a power brace system. Thanks for helping.

I know the cracks are not that bad i want to seal from inside and out side where i can without having to dig. And i am putting up a metal stud wall so i dont care what the inside looks like.

wet runs to dry as cold runs to hot,,, water vapor will be apparent in the bsmt which's why many have dehumidifiers running in the summer,,, moisture/vapor transmission will occur no matter what you put on the interior walls,,, where it becomes an issue is it collects INSIDE the block wall where it then attacks the lime in the block's cement
