Hey guys,

I'm thinking of making myself a small audio component rack in a few months once the temperatures allow me to work in my detached garage. I'm going to use solid oak and was wondering what paints / primers to use to get a finish that somewhat matches the attached pic. I assume it would be a satin finish, oil based maybe? Specific manufacturers and product lines would be appreciated if anyone has done this before. Thanks

Sand to 150, prime with BM217 or 024. Sand primer coat 220 grit. Top coat with Cabinetcoat, Advance or General finishes black poly.
