I have a Bissell 16n5-f Healthy Home Bagless Vacuum Cleaner. It works fine.
However, in a moment of carelessness, the upper canister was not secured properly, and fell on a hard floor, shattering the thumb latch that holds the dust cup to the the upper cyclone.

I can't find this fershlugginer part anywhere on line.

I can't even find parts for the machine anymore.

I'll be darned if I am going to spend a lot of money for a replacement vacuum just because of a $2.00 plastic part!

Anybody have a source where I can just get this latch. I don't care what color it is (mine is green).

Maybe Sears parts direct.com.

If they still exist after the Sears bankruptcies of lately.

I would also suggest finding someone with a scanner and 3D printer in your community, that offers a "printed" part duplication service.
