Hey, I am renting a bin for removing the waste from the construction site. I have decided to get a 20 cu yd dumpster. I'll be needing it mainly for dumping the concrete waste from the floor removal projects.Do you think this size will be enough.I hope these bins have the strength to carry all these concrete waste

Talk with company . In my area every size bin has a maximum weight and contract weight. Let's assume the bin has a max weight if 6 ton. The company assumes most people will put in 3 tons so that is the contract weight. In other words for you rental price you can put 3 tons in the bin. The fee that the disposal company pays the disposal site is usually based on tonnage , therefore if you exceed 3 tons but stay below the 6 ton limit you will be charged the additional tipage fee for the excess weight. If you exceed the capacity of the bin then you may have to remove material until you get to the weight limit. The disposal company should have an idea of how much demo concrete the bin can hold . The numbers above are completely fictional. On a 30 cubic yard bin our contract weight was 4 ton with 8 being the max.
