I recently installed Bi fold closet doors. The doors were 80X36. I trimmed about a "1/4 inch off each door to accommodate the opening the door opening.

The doors fit and they fit very snug. I am noticing when I open and close it there is a little wobble in the door. Is it because the doors are to tight? When the door closes they aren't flush always with the wall but you can push the door flush with your hand. Do I need to take another quarter inch on each door? Because there is no pivot or stabilizing point on the bottom of the right door it doesn't feel stable

thanks in advance

The doors are set where you put the upper track and the bottom pivot. If you want the doors flush, move the hardware back.
When you say you removed 1/4" off each door, did you remove 1/8" off each side? The doors vibrate because they are too tight. When you open one set, they get tighter until the move away from the other set.
Trimming these doors are problematic in that there's so little frame to work with. Too much trimming and the frames integrity is gone and the rectangles become rhombus's. If you cut 1/4" off one side of the doors, take 1/8" off the other side to give the doors a little wiggle room.
If you cut anymore, you might want to reinforce the frame by mounting "L"brackets on the doors backside.

Thanks, I have taken a total of 1/2 inch off the doors. So 1/4 inch per door. Looking at the door, it looks like I have about 1/8" left to remove on either end before I reach the danger zone where hardware might not work as well, and or I would have to drill new pivot holes on the top of the door. I really dont want to deal with any of that.
