Best way to do transition

A little more info please--

How thick is the hardwood?

Why a transition into the dining room? Why not just continue?

That adjustable threshold is rather short---will it need to be raised and the door cut?

Usually the entry door will be so close to the new floor that it will not clear a floor mat--so often, the thresh is raised and the door cut----

If the sheet goods floor is lower than the hardwood---a reducer can be made from a piece of hardwood---round over the edge with a router--cut a notch on the back--and overlap the sheet goods.
