OK, I'm confused about this, as different professional painters told me different stories.
We have a house that has some failing and damaged stucco on the exterior, and we are looking to repair it then repaint it. One painter suggested to use Kelly Moore 250 Acrylic Surface Conditioner & Primer as the base coat (see product details here: http://www.kellymoore.com/products/peam_250_color_shield). While others suggested to use oil-based paint as the base and they claim that for stucco exterior surface, the primer SHOULD be oil-based and I should use oil-based primer ONLY. Thoughts or comments about this? Thanks!
