I just installed some new engineered wood floors. They look fantastic. They are walnut. They also have a nice satin finish that I really like. But I've noticed that the finish on them is fairly delicate and scratches kind of easily. I'm happy to bust out my stain or stick touch up kit periodically but I was wondering if there are any cleaners/sealers/surface protectors that I can clean the floors with to make them more resistant to scratches? I do not want something that will make the floors glossy. Is there anything that kind of keeps it relatively satin or a natural looking finish while still adding a bit of a protective layer? Thanks!

Are they real wood veneer or a picture of wood?

Quality engineered flooring will come with a 20 or 50 year wear warranty. Cheaper flooring, and especially laminate won't. It is only a picture of wood applied to the surface of MDF and sprayed with several coats of aluminum oxide as a finish. Post a picture of the damage so we can see what you see.

It's a real wood veneer on top not laminate.

I've had good luck with a collection of stain pens and filler pens for Varithane since the wood has a high variance in color. So fixing scratches when they occur isn't an issue. I was just wondering if there's a cleaner protector combo out there that could help add a little extra protection since the finish on the floors, unfortunately, seems to be pretty thin and scratches easier than I'd prefer. I had used something like this on some previous wood floors but it added kind of a glossy coat to the floors and I don't want a glossy finish on these. It was fine for those floors because they already kind of had a finish like that.
