So I just had this really nice shed installed today, and it's a fair size at 10x10x7 (peak height is 9') and after I got looking inside of it I thought to myself "to hell with just leaving this as a simple shed" so I'm going to run some electrical, insulate it, and install lights, a couple of outlets, an AC and heater.

So basically I'm wondering what some options might be for covering the walls that isn't drywall. I don't need anything that heavy or thick.... 3/8" is about as thick as I would want to go.

I do NOT want anything like the old 70's wood paneling, I want it to look kind of modern/clean, but more importantly it should be fairly cheap :D

Why not dry wall?
Cheaper then paneling, clean look, going to have to install it anyway if you want the paneling to lay flat and not be wavy.
Paneling is only going to be 4 X 8, sheet rock can be up to 12'.

well it seemed a bit overkill having to install drywall then tape it and such.

but that aside, it's in a shed so I could imagine any number of scenarios that would result in damage to the drywall, plus any moisture issues.

I wanted something a little more robust and suited for a shed/garage type environment.
