I did my first knockdown texture last night and it did not turn out so well. When knocking down the mud I had a lot of crumbles and I there is a lot of crumbs still on the wall. I assume I let the mud dry to long? Or, was the splatter to thick? or both?
Next question, can I save what is done by using a stiff brush to knock down the crumbs? Or a damp sponge?
