I have a closet that is about 10 ft wide, but the opening is only about 6 ft wide. This leaves about 2 ft of closet on both sides that is almost inaccessible. I was thinking of floor to ceiling shelves turned sideways to make it easier to access rather than facing toward the front of the closet. Any ideas? I thought about hangimg a rod the full length of the closet but it would be awkward to reach any clothes that way.
