I just installed pine bead board on my walls in my bathroom. One of the sections is right against my shower surround. Do I have to worry about problems with expansion into the surround and damaging the surround???

if it is paneling beadboard, I would not expect as much movement as it were if it was actual board style of beadboard. I would not have it touching either way. 1/8" if paneling, 1/4" if boards.
