sometimes the water drains right out othertimes it sits all day or takes a few hours. tried draino, snaking the drain, vinegar&baking soda. also plunger only works sometimes. i'v been dealing with this for 9 monts. HELP
have you took the screws out of the overflow/trip lever plate and pulled the rod and plunger out? I used to fix many bathtub drains that were never adjusted when they were installed so it didnt take much to stop the flow. other times the spring clip on the trip lever gets weak and when you flip the lever to drain the tub the plunger will fall back down partially and the tub will drain slow. does the drain in the bottom have the screen cover on it. I have also pulled shampoo bottle caps out of tub drains before when the strainer cover was missing and they dropped a cap and it went down the drain.
