Hi all. 1st time posting. OK, so I've been painting my bathroom vanity for the past week and finally fished last night. Assuming the finish would need a protective barrier, I purchased a can of Rustoleum clear spray enamel. Only used it on the actual unit initially as the drawers and doors are still detached. Not liking the sheen it added nor the unevenness. Further reading today explained that a top clear coat was not even a necessity for non-high traffic areas. So I'm now stuck with an uneven, glossy vanity and doors and drawers that are perfect.
Is it at all possible to just sand the clear coat and add another coat or 2 of my regular paint? Or will i have to do the inevitable and totally sand, re-prime and repaint. If the latter, I may just have to spray the entire thing and live with it.
