Bathroom sink aerator causing white water?

732 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  smartypants47
Not sure why my bathroom sink aerator is all of a sudden turning the water white, but it seems to be only when the water is on all the way. My main question though, is could it just be because the pipes have been cold & the heater running recently, and if that's the case would it be likely to clear up on its own as the weather warms up? Several internet sources indicated that cold pipes tended to cause this issue, but nothing said whether it then went away by itself. Thanks for any info!

If you put that water into a glass and let it set for a minute or so that air would come out, it is the air that is making the water white.
