I am looking to pull out the cabinets in my bathroom and put something like much smaller to free up some space however the plumbing is problematic. Everything that I have looked at would require either having a bathroom vanity sink off-center to the right and/or cutting into the drawers to accommodate the current setup. Has anyone re-configured a plumbing setup from this to more of a 90 degree angle out of the wall? I don't mind a little gap and some piping showing if it is more parallel to the wall and cean further hide it with some shelving or something. Based on the close up of the connection is that easy to work with?

You have a bit of an issue with the layout of this plumbing. The 45 butts right into the wall which makes it hard to cut off cleanly. One possibility is to put another 45 to straighten the run, albeit offset a few inches. But it would work.

You can see if there is any movement on the pipe going into wall by unhooking the p-trap (make sure to put a bucket under it to capture the water trapped in it) and then pulling on it gently.

If there is a bit of movement, then you may be able to pull on the pipe to cut if off cleanly and then you can out a connector on it and then a new pipe to bring it out where you want it to run and then cut it off at the correct length.

ABS doesn't need a primer, but it does need the correct glue

Hope this helps.
