Ok, this is a last minute change of plan/questioning my decision situation.

I have my bathroom remodel underway, the underlayment is down, cleaned, and sealed (for self-stick Stainmaster vinyl tile). I probably should have read some of the thoughts prior to purchasing, but now I'm questioning my decision to use self-stick tiles. The bathroom is small (40sq. ft, but less actual exposed flooring), and we do not have the structure support or desire to do tile which is why we decided on the vinyl.

First, what is everyone's thoughts on Stainmaster self-stick tile (we also purchased a vinyl grout)?

Would I be better off with something else? I don't like sheet vinyl as I think it looks cheap. Laminate? For what it's worth, this bathroom abuts to oak hardwood flooring.

Any flooring in a bathroom that has seams is a bad idea.
Not sure where you have been look for sheet goods. But there's hundreds of differant patterns avalible that look great, will hold up really well, easy to install and will not leak.
You need to be looking at a real flooring store not a box store.
Peel and stick tiles are really hard to lay because they tend to stick before you can get them lined up.
Over time they shrink and gaps open up.
There always seems to be some that just will not stay stuck down.
Laminite is out, it needs to float, to many seams. One toilet over flow and the floor is trash.

Really bad wording choice on my part (hurried that first post). I primed it with latex vinyl floor primer.

I'll stop by one of our local flooring stores today. I would be open to a HIGH quality vinyl sheet floor that looks as close to tile as possible. I really hate the idea, but maybe there's a product out there that can impress me. Any recommendations?

Unless the bathroom is ginormous...
98% of the people who go in and out of there will never notice the flooring.
If you would have been satisfied by self stick... you'll be in heaven with sheet..

Yeah, it's literally 27 sq.ft of floor area after you subtract for the tub (although I plan to run a little overlap under the tub to prevent a seam where water could collect).
