I am preparing to replace faucets in my bathroom sink and in the bathtub. I have heard that many faucets have plastic parts and are basically junk. I am new at this. Can anyone help how to select quality faucets?

Moen, Delta, HansGrohe and maybe Kohler are my favorites.
Go to their websites and study what they have in common.(you'll see plastic too)

If repair parts are not available quickly---consider the faucet 'disposable'----

Stick with the brands The E Plumber suggested and you will be fine.
