Ok as long as the attic air temperature is higher than the dew point temperature of the air being pumped into the attic. Most summer days is a possibility. Most winter days not so.

I think you should vent it outside. It will create quite a bit of moisture in the attic.

My understanding of code is that it needs to exhaust to the exterior, and any duct exposed in unconditioned space needs to be insulated.

No way should it just vent into an attic!!!!
No exceptions!!!
Needs to be vented out the roof or out a side wall.
