Hi,
I need to install an exhaust vent for one of my bathrooms, I am trying to find what boot and end cap to use for the type of That I have, as per pic. I have a stoned coated tile steel roof.

If there is any way possible I would take out in the soffit or wall.

They make underpans, but you are going to need to unzip some panels and that isn't easy. Do you have a roofer that has worked with that panel before?



Your other option is to run a 4" line through the roof and use a decktite type boot.

Soffit or roof are the only options. Thank you for the info.

No I don't have roofer, the roof was installed 15 years ago.
Is it ok to have an open pipe with no cap?

For a bath vent, no. We normally put elbows on them to turn them down and keep the rain out of them (roof application). Through the soffit, they should have a hood on them.
