bathroom cabinets weep oil

My bathroom weeps oil onto the doors and other woodwork. I have stripped the drawers nearly bare, and, feel like I should put on an oil based primer, but, I don't want to have this same problem. At first I thought it was pee on the door. Can I have a good paint job with acrylic kitchen and bath paint?

What do you mean the bathroom weeps oil? From where?

Oil based primer would be the best first coat. Acrylic on top will be fine--post a picture if you can.--Mike--

Hoping to get some direction with my bathroom. The woodwork weeps oil. I don't know what this wood was painted with. I have nearly stripped the drawers of paint. I am afraid to put oil primer on for fear of having the same problem.

Suppose I have to completely strip the moulding to cure my weeping problem.
Unless, it could possibly be the sap. How can I know?

All those pros who chimed in on how bad Behr paint is, I hope you can tell me what to do in my bathroom. Does it need to be bath and kitchen paint?

Before you proceed with painting the doors, you need to know the source of the "oil".
Photos will help.
Is the molding weeping as well?
Do you have an efficient exhaust fan in the bathroom?
I thought Consumers Reports gave Behr paint a very good rating.

I personally use Valspar from Lowes. Its very good and have never had a problem with it. I work as a painter and home maintenance and have never heard of weeping wood. Although I did paint some wood on the exterior of a house the other day amd had to go back and paint over some knots in the wood that were showing through. Never happened, and very weird. As far as paint goes, always use a semi-gloss or gloss in the bathrooms. This helps when wiping the walls and if the walls sweat, they can be wiped down.
