Any of you ever put receptacles inside a wall cabinet in a bathroom? I think it would be a good way to hide electric tooth brushes/chargers. If so, any thing special to consider(other than gfci)?
Couple of times this was done. If the appliance cord is long enough, you can do it. One time we installed a receptacle inside of a drawer for a curling iron. It was a horrible idea and I'm surprised it passed. Counter top outlets are there because it is a convenient height.
Why was it a horrible idea and why are you surprised it passed? We are considering doing this in our remodel for the same reason as the OP-- lots of chargers.
