Any of you ever put receptacles inside a wall cabinet in a bathroom? I think it would be a good way to hide electric tooth brushes/chargers. If so, any thing special to consider(other than gfci)?

Couple of times this was done. If the appliance cord is long enough, you can do it. One time we installed a receptacle inside of a drawer for a curling iron. It was a horrible idea and I'm surprised it passed. Counter top outlets are there because it is a convenient height.

Maybe the idea wasn't horrible but the execution was. It's probably a lot easier with romex. We had to use sealtite and a gem box.

Just give yourself enough slack so that even if you yank that drawer open or slam it closed, the wires are not going to pop out or get pinched.

The idea of the recpt in the drawer is interesting. Maybe a few more guys will comment.
