Bath tub leaks down below during shower only, opened the trim, no dripping noted from the pipes, have changed the Moen cartridge, now the leak has minimized but contine to drip during shower only.
Bath tub leak is on the second floor in a two storey house, and bath room leak water drains down on top of the kichen cabinets.
It is Moen's old shower assembly with push/pull shower lever.
There is a water stopper piston right next to the tub, but does not work.
Should I change the drain assembly? or
Remove the entire tub to see where the leak is occuring?
Any help is appreciated.
