Hi all.
I bought a Panasonic 150 cfm bath fan with light and night light.

Is it ok to take a feed off the circuit powering my bath outlets to provide the power to this fan?

I ask because the outlets are on a 20 amp circuit and the fan connections are definitely not 12 gauge. Thanks

The size of the fixture wires has nothing to do with the circuit wires.

Some areas (Canada for instance) has limitations for what size circuit lighting can be on. Not sure if this applies. Generally in the US you'd be fine as long as the circuit feeding the receptacles doe snot feed anything else outside the bathroom.
