During some rain yesterday I noticed rain water accumulating at the bottom of the window in my basement. I can't imagine this is good. The primary source seems to be the channel at the bottom of the siding (in addition to the direct rain, of course).

What would best prevent the water getting on the window? Should the channel not be draining here? Should I lower the level of the gravel?

Thanks!

Side note, where is the best place to get a window well cover? I haven't found a local source for the size I need.

If you have a weeping tile system, you can use an auger to drill a hole and then fill it with washed rock so the water flows to the weeping tile and drains away.
Use a cloth wrapped Drainage pipe as a casing for the washed rock/

And, yes. Lower that gravel.
