You need them. There are many sizes of steel beams and being supported means the beam wasn't sized to span end to end. Those red posts also have footings under them to take the load.
Basement supports
Hello, my question is that we have the basement supports in our basement that are “holding up “steel beam that are going across the complete width of or house. there are six of them. Do I really need the red supports?
