I have some odd sized basement Windows I need to replace. I was wondering if I could just keep the existing wood frame, add stops and get a vinyl replacement.
Or should I rip out the old wood and re-frame with PT?
Windows are decent sized- 33x21 with existing frame so need to custom order.
Would these have been cemented in place? Or is it as easy as replacing the wood? I've seen on some metal frames that it's a real pain to chisel out the cement to make it flat.
