Hi,

I am finishing a basement bathroom and kitchen and will need to tap off for hot water.

Currently, at the top of my water heater, there are two shark bites on the cold AND hot lines. So, my thought is to get two 3/4" - 3/4" x 3/4" T's to replace those existing shark bite connectors. (assuming they are 3/4" now)

Then, from there, I think I could install shark bite ball valves (3/4" assumingly) before running the hot and cold lines to the corresponding fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom in 1/2" PEX pipes.

Does this sound right? If not, pelase provide guidence...

Please help and thank you in advance.

I'm counting your proposed fixtures in my head- you should run 3/4" lines. My rule of thumb is 2 fixtures on a 1/2" line
