Can post a picture later if it is hard to understand, but I'm sure everyone will get this problem.

Just bought a new house with a partially finished basement. It has a fixed ceili with 3 lights. One of the lights turns on and off by a switch at the basement entrance (top of stairs). The other two lights are old pull string.

I want to put some LED recessed lights in, but I want them all to be attached to the light switch. So how can I connect all of them if the ceiling is already fixed?

Trying to figure it out, but guessing I will have to tear down a lot of the ceiling to run the wiring and install the new lights

An Electrician may be able to fish wires to eliminate or minimize repair to the ceiling.

It's nothing you can be taught here.

Not DIY stuff.

You will need to fish cable to the existing fixture and tie in there. it may involve making some holes in the existing ceiling.
