Wondering what is the best way to run water supply lines to a wet bar in a basement island?

Is the basemant already finished out or is the veiling open?
Reason I ask is if there's some way you could built in some fancy looking coloum sitting on the counter top you could run your supplys and power inside of it.

That's a whole lot easyer then busting out concrete.

We are just in the framing stage, but no work has been done on the island wet bar and the ceiling is still open. Is there any code against putting water supply lines and electrical lines down a shared column?

Nahh just go ahead and do it. You could put a column on each end for balance, power through one, and water through the other. Then along comes junior and drives a nail into column B and well, you know the rest of the story
