I am in the process of finishing my basement and want to add addition insulation. The walls are already wrapped in a thin insulation with vapor barrier. I'm not sure if I should add additional insulation in studs then drywall or add additional insulation then vapor barrier then drywall. Any help would be great thanks.

I'd tear out the current insulation and have 2-3" of closed cell spray foam shot in there from Tom joist down to floor. Good as vapor barrier and insulation plus adds good structural rigidity to the walls. More expensive but best route to take. Make sure you have all wiring and plumbing down beforehand
