Hi,

I have a cement basement floor. It is somewhat uneven. It doesn't get wet but there is dampness. I have put a waterproof paint on the floor, and painted it with porch/floor paint, which has reduced the dampness considerably. The borders of the basement have a French drain.

We had the basement walls done by Corning. We would like to do the floor to make it more comfortable. We have had two recommendations (so far). One is Pergo flooring which I used on an upstairs room (I know they have a different under padding for basements). The other is vinyl tiles.

I am looking for a recommendations, thanks.
