Basement Door

My basement door walks out into the back yard and I would like to make it look nicer. It's built into the poured cement foundation and it's wider than your ordinary door frame but not as wide as french door frames. I'm wondering if it would be wise to widen the door frame by cutting back the foundation. If so, what kind of saw would I need to do so? I would like to make it wide enough for french doors or a slider. Thanks for the help!

You need more than the saw for this. Cutting a poured foundation will definitely require an engineer.
