Hi there,

I built my basement using the Logix blocks and am in the process of finishing it. I'm just laying the flooring and will then need to do the baseboards. How do I fasten the baseboards to the drywall when there is no wood behind the drywall to fasten to? Do I try to hit the plastic strips that are embedded in the styrofoam (that would take pretty long nails)? Do I glue it on?

Thanks,

Wes

Use some quality construction adhesive, then double nail the trim at an angle driving the trim tight to the drywall where the trim needs to be pushed tight to the wall until the glue dries. then use painters caulk along the top for extra holding power and to fill any voids. Good luck BOB
