I'm trying to find out the correct flow direction through a ball valve-type shut off valve. It's the quarter turn type for 1/2 inch copper, straight through, no drain cap. Not compression or shark-type, just plain old solder. Its a Dahl Bros product I bought at HD. The part where you slip the copper tubing into is slightly longer on one side than the other. Does it matter what direction the water flows through it?
Thanks Dave
