I am going to replace my chlorine injection system with a hydrogen peroxide system. I also have a whole house carbon filter that I am going to reuse. I would like to replace the media in side of it but am not sure how to do that? It basically looks like a water softener. It think it is a 2 cubic foot tank. I see that they just pour in the new media using a funnel but how do you empty the old media? Just turn it upside down??? The tank is 13"in diameter by 52" tall.

On a water softener they just tip it over and dump it out.
