I'm having my backsplash installed this week and I need some opinions on the layout.

I have an L shaped layout and in the corner where the 2 counters meet I have a chimney. Right now its painted to match the kitchen. We are not sure if we should end the tile at the chimney or tile around it.
The chimney sticks out 21 inches on side and about 14 inches on the other.

We are going with w travertine stone and crushed glass.

Any thoughts on which way would look better.

Thanks!
I can't figure out how to post pics this is the only way I found to do it

Hey Jean, welcome to the forum, I appreciate your patients. JMHO is that a back splash is actually to keep stains off the walls, I would think it would look better to wrap the back splash. If you are installing it up to the bottom of the cabinets I would consider dressing the top edge of the back splash where it wraps the corner. I am sure others will chime in here soon.

If you need more help with posting pictures just let us know.

my posting rules is telling me I'm not aloud to post attachments, not sure why. Oh well thanks for your help anyway.
Jean, I think a new member has to have a certain number of posts before they can post attachments but I am not sure, I will check and let you know.
