Installing backerboard in kitchen in prep for tile, and trying to figure out how to lay it out. It is a 9x15 room. I understand that I do not want 4 corners to line up, but am wondering if 1 seam can run continuous the length of the room so long as it does not follow the plywood subfloor seam? I have attached my plan here. I do realize that with spacing around the edges and between sheets, I will probably have to shave down some of the tiles on 1 edge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
