I am trying to vent my very humid bathroom (that has no existing exhaust) somewhere. As of now i have to keep the windows open in the bathroom. If i want to vent into the attic (im in socal) is that ok? Also i have this picture here and i wanted to know if you thought this was mold or just aging?

White stuff in photos looks like chopped insulation and not a worry if that is what it is.
Bath vents should be ducted outside, not into the attic space or you will have moisture (and likely mold) issues in the attic.

I believe it is insulation but what about the black mark on the wood framing?

Could be surface dirt and not mold. I believe the test is to get some liquid bleach, e.g., Chlorox, on a q-tip and apply it to the black; if it disappears it is mold, if it just wipes off and stays black on the q-tip then dirt.

Never vent it into the attic!! If you have soffit or roof-edge attic-intake ventilation, vent the fan through the roof - otherwise, some of the moisture will just be sucked into your attic through the intake ventilation (partially defeating the purpose).
