I'm about to remove insulation from the attic. Replacement will take a few days because I have some other things to do at the same time...hvac work to be exact. I understand day time will be fine but overnight, should I expect a big difference in temp.?

Not sure how anyone would be even able to guess without a location.
Should not make any difference it needs to be done.
Make sure to air seal and add baffles before insulating.

If your furnace is still operable, you won't have any change in temperature in your house. Just your furnace will run a little longer.

If your furnace will be out of commission for a few days while you do your work, then yes, your house will cool down. As Joe mentioned, your location will effect how much the temp drops.

If your furnace will be out of commission for a few days, just make sure you keep all the lights on, maybe fill the tub with hot water every once in a while, and you should be OK.

Night-time radiation losses will be slight for Las Vegas.... go for it.
