I have two corbels for either side of my exhaust hood in my kitchen. I also have a tile backsplash.

The corbels are wood and have "key slot's" recessed on the back for hanging BUT I can not use screws to attach, I need to use some adhesive.

I was told they could be glued up, but not sure what I can use.

Any advise?

They look something like this:

I would not be able to get them flush up against the hood.

The hood is in place, the corbels have key slots for the screws. I would need to get the corbel higher then the hood and slide it down, cant do that.

I was told a heavy duty construction adhesive. No, they are not supporting anything.
