Ok so my walls had blown in cellulose in them. What is this in my ceiling/attic

How old is the home? It looks like regular insulation that has discolored. If so, still would recommend mask, long sleeves and gloves if you remove and replace it.

Its 1930 however these walls were probably opened up before. Not knowing how old and not much experience with insulation- thought I'd ask. I am going to do new drywall on the ceiling and walls
