Hi all. Been a while.
Had a quick question regarding asbestos insulating board.
In this pic it appears that the wallboard may be AIB. I am not sure.
This is an old home/shack from 1958 that has asbestos siding shingles on the outside... so I figured that this wallboard was likely an old asbestos containing material.
Can any of you confirm my suspicion?
There is a lot of this wallboard that is broken up on the floor inside... Must have covered the walls and ceiling. Thank you for any insight!

The only way to be sure is to have a sample tested. The age puts it in the range of possibility but even up close no one can say for sure.

Note, check what regulations are in place in your area as you will need to deal with the siding anyway. Also ask if you can do the clean up or if it has to be a license contractor.
