I'm not a very religious person so please forgive me in any way you feel appropriate.

I hired a couple of young professional plumbers to change out the pressure tank in the well house. Please keep in mind i did do that same change out 11 years ago at age 68.

But i did sanitize the well and replaced the water filter that was due for replacement.

EDIT: EDIT:

I have about a couple of acres that have grown up and I need to get out there and clear it. Nyet. I'll wind up hiring a crew of 4 or 5 young bucks to get in there and get it done. Like @Colbyt says, it's a normal day for them. And I'm out maybe $500, sitting on the porch sipping Southern Comfort and watching them.

To me, no sin was committed. You already know how to do it and decided it was worth your money to pay someone else to do it. And you have the added advantage of knowing if it was done right or not.

Part of the beauty of being a DIYer is knowing what you can and can't do, and knowing what you just don't want to be bothered with. You still come out ahead in the long run.

I'm about to turn 40. Next week I get to go to the hospital and get a ileostomy (don't bother looking it up). It will be operation #13 for me. I just wanted to get my remodel finished as this remodel should make the rest of my life a little bit simpler.

I have about 4 hours worth of work left till the concrete work is ready. I might not be able to watch them pump the 43 yards of concrete.

At some point this year I'll be learning to pick up the phone to get lots of projects done. I already know what my cuss word will be as it will fit right in with the ileostomy...

EDIT: EDIT:

There is no sin, in giving work to someone that has a family to care for.

If you can afford to take it easy, and conserve your energy for something that you enjoy, all the better for you.
