There wasn't an installation packet. I was expecting an instruction packet along with the keeper plate for the astragal and long screws for the hinges. I called my local dealer and they contacted the distributor (the person that assembles the doors). They said that stuff is contractor supplied. I then called Therma tru and they said the distributor should supply. Do these doors normally come with a packet or does the contractor normally furnish them.

Any I've bought it was in a plastic bag stapled to the back side of the jamb.

I called the distributor and they said that it is supposed to come with it. They are only sending the astragal mounting kit. Aren't the long screws that go through the hinges supposed to be supplied? I wouldn't consider that a big deal except I purchased everything in bronze. I would need to find bronze fasteners.

What else is supposed to come in an installation packet?

Directions to install, longer screws for the hinges, sometimes some silly stick on foam pads that do nothing to install at the bottom of the jambs that are suppose to keep water from going under the threshold.
