Are tamper-resistant receptacles required in unfinished basements?

I'm replacing the standard non-GFCI receptacles in our unfinished basement with GFCI's. I bought the non-tamper-resistant versions. I've installed one so far, but then wondered if they are supposed to be tamper resistant. I did some Google searching but wasn't clear if code required them in UNfinished basements. They're all less than 5 feet above the floor. I don't want to install the rest until I get this clarified. I can exchange them if necessary. Thanks.

You only need one GFI per circuit install at the begining at the line to protect all of them.
Exception, is if your working with an ungrounded circuit and your trying to convert from the old style 2 prong to having it be three pronged.
