We are looking at some crushed marble sinks for the bathroom. They look cool, but the manufacturer says they cannot be exposed to chlorine, acid, and many other things. Are they a great deal of trouble to take care of? They are supposed to be easily cleaned, but also easily scratched.

Marble is so easily damaged as a vanity top---as a sink? I would give it 3 years before you were telling guests not to use that bathroom. Bad choice.
